Jay A. Met, M.D. attended Columbia College, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated with honors from Albert Einstein Medical School. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and his retina vitreous fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Dr. Met has joined Anderson & Shapiro Eye Care to provide retinal services at our Madison office. In addition, he maintains a private practice, in Milwaukee, contributes to research in ophthalmology, and has trained medical students and fellow doctors about retinal diseases and surgery.

Jay and his wife, Reisa, have two children, Madeline and Charles. He enjoys tennis, bicycling, kayaking, golf, and spending time training his golden retrievers.
